Default Achieve Planner Bug (1.8.5 and later): Problem with Recurring Appointment Reminders

Hello,

We recently discovered a bug in the Achieve Planner software that affects recurring appointment & event reminders. This problem affects Achieve Planner 1.8.5 and later.

The problem happens when you snooze a recurring appointment or event reminder. Achieve Planner remembers the amount of time you snoozed the reminder so that if you exit the application and launch it again, the snoozed reminder is retained.

The bug happens on the next recurring instance of the appointment or event, because the saved snooze duration is NOT cleared for the next instance's reminder.

Here is an example:

You have a birthday reminder set for 5 days before your birthday, and you've set it up as a recurring annual event.

When the reminder shows up, you snooze it for several days (maybe even past the event date) and then dismiss the reminder.

The reminder for the recurring event in the following year could happen AFTER the event date (if you snoozed it past the event) instead of before it.

NOTE: This same problem can happen with recurring appointments/meetings in the Weekly Schedule (not just events).

We are working on a fix for this problem and should have it ready sometime next week.

In the meantime, please be aware of this problem and double-check all your recurring events/appointments because you may not get a reminder before the appointment/event.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this problem.
